First off I have rented from National every week for over 3 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had. They appear to be a franchise branch. They will not honor the company rate for roadside or the loss damage waiver. They clearly let you know the cars are for that location only. I'm still pending a call back from management regarding the corporate contract rate and why they are being difficult.
My advice, rent from the Enterprise at this airport and just provide your national emerald # so you still get the rental credit.
Arriving at XNA late - you will be pleasantly surprised that this is pretty much the only car rental that is not open. On some past occasions I have also had issues with the cleanliness of cars. This is a franchise location - one of four I am told.
