Pathetic service. I wish I can rate them in negative. Even if they provide service in free.. do not go.. receptionist do not care at all
Never again. I'll find an urgent care or med express clinic if ever I need an "emergency" visit again.
What a racket. I visited this location twice and had considered making this office my primary care provider. The first strike came when I was suffering from terrible sinus headaches from horrible allergies. I had to go in for antibiotics. When I went in I requested Sudafed, along with my antibiotics. And while I was expecting a little issue, I have a standing order with my doctor and it's in my records. I suffer from allergy induced migraines and Sudafed keeps my headaches from hitting that level. I can understand not wanting to give a large quantity of something that can be made into unlawful material, however, my file can be verified by a local doctor.
Had to wait to be checked in while staff, who I later saw the name tag and business card was Pam Blair, the site manager stood at the front desk complaining about computer problems. Finally got back to be seen after waiting an hour after my scheduled time. What's the point of an appointment if it's going to be an hour later. In the back, they hand me a tablet for a review and then I wait another 30 minutes to see the doctor. Absolutely, poor customer service.
Never. They closed the Tulsa location without informing me, I am still struggling to get my medical records, and they are no help when I call. Don't use them.
The second strike came when I was going on vacation and found that I didn't have any additional refills on my birth control and they wanted me to come in for a full yearly exam but were booked for 3 weeks *after* my pack was done. I had to get a person (nurse) on the phone and get her to explain the logic of letting my birth control lapse almost an entire month before they could reissue my prescription. And only after an exam that I was told I'd need every two years, unless I was trying to re-up a birth control prescrip. She got quiet for a few seconds and laughed nervously and acknowledged that wasn't fair nor bright and would cause more damage than it prevented. Not including pregnancy. She'd have the doctor call in a single additional refill but only if I made the exam appt with her at that very moment.
My second or third great experience at Wellquest. I had an appointment for 4 days from now but went in tonight as a walk-in because my symptoms were worse and they were so nice and quick as they could be. Anabelle at the front desk was kind and helpful and a saw Dr Levena, I highly recommend her, great listener, very engaged and took me seriously and got done what I so needed! I will definitely go back if need be
The final straw happened today. My husband went in about 2 weeks ago and was prescribed a Z-Pack for an upper respiratory infection. He wasn't given a cough suppressant or an expectorant even though he sounded like Golem's sickly, 4 pack a day smoking cousin. Nor was he given a steroid. Instead he was given a $150 *CO-PAY* bill. Hey, this happens. Especially when insurance companies renegotiate rates and what not. What was truly exceptional in their service was when he relapsed the last couple of days he called and asked them to resend another Z-Pack. Not Sudafed, not Codine syrup, a Z-Pack. They said they'd need him to come back in for another visit. And another $150. For antibiotics.
