My husband has had rotatater cuff surgery for an old sports injury as well as a surgery for a torn bicep. Dr. Dougherty performed both surgeries. We did extensive research prior to meeting Dr. Dougherty. While we were initially anxious about surgery, once we met with Dr. Dougherty... we were immediately put at ease. We felt comfort by his knowledge, experience, and passion for repairing each injury! He is the best!

Dr. Dougherty is the Dr. my families trusts!

Additionally, my brother had a motorcycle accident about 11 years ago and completely "tore up" his knee. His first surgery was with "another" Dr. In the area. It was not long after that initial surgery that he was in so much pain that he needed another one for more repair. He searched for a different Dr. And discovered that Dr. Dougherty who is the Dr. for the KC Royals was located in the NW Arkansas area. He immediately set up an appointment and was very pleased with the results. He trusts Dr. Dougherty implicitly! Dr. Dougherty has been proactive And provided cutting edge treatment!!

Dr. Dougherty is a horrible physician, who only cares about the quantity of surgeries he performs, not the actual care after surgery. My son has CRPS due to his knee surgery, and as parents we were never informed by Dr. Dougherty what CRPS was, although he told my son verbally that he had it, and put Sympathetic Changes on his clinical documentation. He never said that this was a life altering and crippling disease that can ruin your life and body. We haven't heard from Dr. Dougherty since his 3rd post op appointment. After 1 1/2 years, my son is just now able to walk and return to school, because of Dr. Elliott Krane at Stanford Children's Hospital in California. My 16 year old son had to go to Stanford Children's Hospital for 3 months for a very painful, but very successful program, and has just returned 5 days ago. He still has a very intense physical therapy program everyday, and is still in pain on a daily basis. CRPS goes from limb to limb and eventually your vital organs. Don't ever go see this man, because he doesn't care.

Dr. Dougherty fixed a torn meniscus after a ski accident. I have had no issues with this knee since the surgery 3 years ago. He also operated on my husband's shoulder and the surgery was a complete success.

My family and extended family trust and highly recommend Dr. Dougherty!

Dr. Doughrty is an excellent surgeon. He not only did surgery on my daughters feet for cutting and lengthening her Achilles' tendons in both feet as well as a cut and release of the tendons under her toes on both feet. He also did a surgery on her hip due to degenerative issues in hopes it would prolong having to do a hip replacement at such a young age. He is dedicated to his patients, has an awesome bedside manner and he treats you like a person not a $ sign. He repaired my Achilles' tendon when I tore it almost completely in half. A year later he had to go back in and replace whatever it was he had done before be ny body tends to calcified things which makes life very painful. He also repaired my left knee after I fell down a flight of stairs and pretty much broke my knee cap in half. I have torn my meniscus a couple of times in the same knee and each time he has fixed it. I shattered the same knee in a car accident when it was lodged in the dashboard. Most surgeons would not have been able to do any of that considering everytime it's been the same knee. He takes his time and is meticulous and makes sure he does above and beyond when it comes to his patients. He is the only Dr. I will ever trust with my children or myself, in fact I am seeing him this morning because I think I tore what was left of my meniscus.
