Not worthy of 1 star. We purchased a vehicle here. It was exactly what my wife wanted. The day after we got it home, after it set for a while, When we started it, it smoked continuous blue smoke for approximately 30 seconds. Once it's been started , like on a car lot, it doesn't smoke until next day after it sets. Immediately called them, their response was " it wasn't like that when we sold it, we have all our cars checked out." They immediately insinuated that I damaged the car. He then said, well, it is a used car. I tried to just get my money back and they wouldn't do that. All he would say is " I just can't, we don't do that " I then spent my own money, took it to a new car dealership of the same make, and paid them to do a comprehensive inspection of the engine so hopefully I would have some leverage to get my money back. Still, they refused.
Here's the most unbelievable part of it all. The owner had the gall to CHARGE me for the Miles driven on the car, until he got something on the lot my wife was "ok" with to trade UP on, So he deducted that from the price I paid for it. ( About 2 1/2 weeks ) Take it for what it is.....
Also, I became super excited about the fact they told me my Chevrolet Cruze had an extended warranty on it (one of the main reasons I bought it).
Come to the present, my car is now broken down and George Nunnally Chevrolet has absolutely no record of a warranty.
So the only option was to spend more money, trade up, and get a more expensive vehicle, not even what my wife wanted, just so I wouldn't be stuck with a worthless vehicle. The inspection report from the ASE Certified Mechanic showed the vehicle was abused and did not have the oil changed regularly. The mechanic said he doubted it had been changed but a few times. I was also able to pull a report at the dealership showing it was a rental vehicle from Enterprise.
I purchased a vehicle from their other lot and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. They lied and mislead me into buying a car and the power steering went out 2 days later less than 100 miles into owning the car. Do not trust these people. They are very clever and smart about what they do, but not in a good way if you know what I mean. If you don’t like getting ripped off and lied to please save yourself some money and stay away from this car lot and their other car lot called “showcase cars and trucks”. They will take advantage of you in every way they can.
Tried calling Performance. Already hateful towards the get-go. Told me I misunderstood them because they offer the Extended Warranty it doesn't come with it. Must of really misunderstood when the 3 other people with me recalled them verbally confirming it came with it.
Didn't even try to help with the situation. Was short and pretty much hung up on me.
It would only be fair to say, the car we had to trade up on has been a very good car. We've put 30K mikes on it trouble free. I just feel like the owners should of done the Noble thing, and give us our money back.
I bought a 2009 mustang convertible from Performance Cars. It had a rear end collision on the car fax and they were very upfront about it. We took it to have it inspected at our mechanic and everything checked out good. I've had the car over 5 years and have no complaints.
Definitely won't be back.
They then proceeded to claim they offer the extended warranty to every buyer because that's how they make extra money. I would have purchased it if the gentlemen offered instead of being deceiving.
Heyo if you're looking for a place to purchase a used car don't come here :) I wish I had talked to people before coming here because everyone had told me how they're rude and will screw you over. I had purchased my car in September of 2016. When I called to set up the appointment they seemed okay, but when I arrived to look at the car it was gone. The men up there told me the car had left to get detailed and no one informed anyone that a potential buyer was coming to look at it.
I truly had the best car buying experience here. The price for the vehicle I wanted was better than any I had seen in AR and surrounding states. I had interacted with many car salesman and shopped around for weeks, and the owner at this place (Aaron) was the only person who I felt was honest. He was very transparent about everything. I got the nice car I wanted, an unbeatable price, a great warranty cheaper than anyone else offered, great value for my trade in, good interest rate, very FAST, easy, friendly, and again TRANSPARENT service. I drove off happy and continue to be happy
