So be careful, these folks like to loose future business because of $10. Also if you get a quote, get it in writing.
We took our car into Mermaid and we were quoted a certain price. When we picked up the car.. hours later.. we were told by the assistant that yes it was that price. We paid and left. Not but an hour later the owner or manager called and actually started yelling at me over the phone that we ripped him off for him $10. He said that his assistant didn't know what price it should have been and that it was actually $10 more. He implied that we lied to his assistant and were conning him.
And to top it all off, it really wasn't that good of a detailing job either. They totally missed that tops of the windows, and they never touched under the seats.
First of all, we are honest Christian people and would never do that sort of thing. Second of all the amount we paid was the "verbal" quote we got from him so that's what we paid.
I've used Mermaid Car Care for my car cleaning, everything works great and the guys were lovely and very careful and professional at all stages of the job. Very happy with this service , so I have been satisfied with them all around and would recommend to anyone.
I told him to calm down on the phone and that my husband would be over after work to give him the $10 we owed. And we did.
